1993 World War II - D Day Silver Dollar – Proof

World War II was one of the largest conflicts that our world has ever seen -- and it brought with it a level of destruction that was, up to that point, unrivaled in our history.

In honor of the incredibly brave individuals who served in our Nation’s Armed Forces, the United States Mint released several sets in 1993 for the 50th Anniversary of the second world-wide conflict -- and among them was a very special Proof Silver Dollar.

Struck from 90% silver, this coin depicts an American soldier storming the beaches at Normandy, France and had a small mintage of just 342,041 total coins.

Each coin will arrive in Proof condition, encapsulated, and in the original government packaging.
