The Franklin Half Dollar was struck from 1948 to 1963. This quick 16-year run makes it the shortest lived production-span of any half dollar in United States Mint history.

The obverse of the Franklin Half Dollar bears the profile of our iconic Founding Father, while the reverse depicts the famous Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, PA.
