The Peace Dollar is America's last circulating "Silver" dollar. It was issued to commemorate the declaration of Peace after World War I. The Peace dollar has 2 very unique inscriptions...On the Obverse, the standard inscription "In God We Trust" is actually written "In God We Trvst", with the "V" for Victory. Then the second, on the reverse, the simple inscription "Peace", which is where it's name derives. It was 1st struck in 1921 and continued until 1928 and then again in 1934 and 1935.
These 1922-1925 Peace dollars are in Uncirculated condition. They have been held by a bank or a private individual since the day they were struck...never being released into circulation. Each Peace Dollar is encapsulated and presented in a custom display box.
