The Last Morgan Dollar...From All Three Mints
1921 marked the end of an era for the most famous silver dollar in US History, the Morgan Dollar. It was introduced in 1878, struck until 1904 and then brought back for one final year in 1921. Considered the silver dollar of the Wild West, the Morgan dollar is struck in silver from the famous Nevada silver find, the Comstock Lode. Made of .900 fine silver, each coin weighs just under an ounce.
