2025 American Women Quarter Series
For 2025, the American Women Quarters Program honors Ida Bell Wells, an American Investigative Journalist, Sociologist, Educator, and early leader of the Civil Rights Movement; Juliette Gordon Low, the Founder of the Girl Scouts of the USA; Vera Florence Cooper Rubin, an American Astronomer who pioneered work on Galaxy Rotation Rates, forever changing how we view our own galaxy and the universe at large; Stacey Park Milbern a famous Disability Justice Activist who helped create the Disability Justice Movement, with her career beginning at the young age of 16; and Althea Gibson, an International Tennis star and Professional Golfer who is considered by many to be one of the greatest tennis players who ever lived.
