These were the final Franklin Half Dollars struck in Uncirculated condition by the Denver and Philadelphia Mints -- and our coins have been certified by NGC as being in stunning MS64 condition. When found in MS64 condition, these coins are astronomically rare.

In 1963, the Philadelphia and Denver Mints produced a combined 89,233,292 Franklin Half Dollars.

Yet today, only 4,037 P&D 2-piece sets struck by the U.S. Mint are known to exist in NGC MS65 condition or better (as of 04/04/2024).

In this grade or better today -- less than 0.027% of the mintage is known with NGC!
