1994 US Prestige Proof Set

Just this Sunday the United States of America's National Women's Soccer team made history with its 5-2 rout of our rival Japan in the FIFA World Cup Title Game. Add to that the fact that her first two goals came in the first 5 Minutes and her third came during the 16th minute, making her the fastest person to record a hat-trick in World Cup History!

To celebrate the United States hosting the 1994 FIFA World Cup, the United States Mint released a special Limited Edition Proof Set...the 1994 World Cup Prestige Proof Set. The proof set contained the same 5 coins a collector would receive from the San Francisco Mint Proof Set, as well as two one-of-a-kind add-ons!
