To celebrate the contributions of our 32nd President, Franklin D. Roosevelt, the United States Mint issued a dime with his portrait in 1946. The Roosevelt Dime replaced the "Mercury" dime in 1946. It has been in production for over 60 years. The scarce San Francisco Mint Proof Dime is the most limited strike released by the US Mint. Each coin is struck twice with a razor sharp appearance - you can easily see yourself in them!
