About this Product Full Product Name

America's Sacagawea Dollar has changed,
this is the first coin of the new

2009 Native American Dollar Program.

These new Native American dollar coins will have some similarities in relation to the previous Sacagawea coins. The obverse will display the image of Sacagawea, and the inscriptions "Liberty" and "In God We Trust."

The changes will include, First Time Edge Incused Writing, which features the Mint Mark, Year and "E Pluribus Unim" inscribed on the edge.
The Coin Reverse, will depict various designs throughout the program celebrating important events and persons in Native American History; the phrase "United States of America," and the "$1" symbol.

This 2009 coin is based on the theme of Agriculture. This coin's reverse features a Native American woman planting seeds in a field, which is symbolic to "Three Sisters" Agriculture, wherein the growing of corn, beans and squash all together in the same mound will enhance the productivity of each plant.

This is an Uncirculated Native American coin pair one each from the Denver and Philadelphia mint from the year 2009. The coins are Certified 67 by ANACS, America's #1 Volume Grader.

Since it's inception, the United States Mint has produced these golden dollars from all three mints. Generally for circulation purposes from the Philadelphia and the Denver Mint, and then in the "Proof" version from the San Francisco Mint.
