About this Product Full Product Name

The new Native American dollar coins will have some similarities in relation to the previous Sacagawea coins. The obverse will display the image of Sacagawea, and the inscriptions "Liberty" and "In God We Trust."

The changes will include, First Time Edge Incused Writing, which features the Mint Mark, Year and "E Pluribus Unim" inscribed on the edge.

The Coin Reverse, will depict various designs throughout the program celebrating important events and persons in Native American History; the phrase "United States of America," and the "$1" symbol.

The 2013 golden dollar commemorates the Delaware Treaty of 1778. Its reverse design features a turkey, howling wolf and turtle (all symbols of the clans of the Delaware Tribe), and a ring of 13 stars to represent the Colonies. The obverse of the coin still shows Sacagawea and her Child.
The coins within the set will consist of one of each from the following mints: Philadelphia, Denver & the San Francisco Mints. The third type is a special issue just for collectors, known as the "Proof". This set will arrive to you in protective custom lens, to preserve their condition and collector value.
