2018 Native American Dollars - Jim Thorpe - PDS - Capsules

It’s not too late to add the 2018 complete mint mark set to your collection. Our 2018 Sacagawea Native American Dollar collector set includes an uncirculated Philadelphia & Denver Mint issue plus the proof issue from San Francisco.

The new Native American dollar coins will have some similarities in relation to the previous Sacagawea coins. The obverse will display the image of Sacagawea, and the inscriptions "Liberty" and "In God We Trust." The changes will include, First Time Edge Incused Writing, which features the Mint Mark, Year and "E Pluribus Unim" inscribed on the edge. The Coin Reverse, will depict various designs throughout the program celebrating important events and persons in Native American History; the phrase "United States of America," and the "$1" symbol. The reverse design features a profiled likeness of Sequoyah writing “Sequoyah from Cherokee Nation” in syllabary along the border of the design. Inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “$1” and “Sequoyah” written in English in the field of the design.

The coins within the set will consist of one of each from the following mints: Philadelphia, Denver & the San Francisco Mints. The third type is a special issue just for collectors, known as the "Proof". This set will arrive to you with each coin encapsulated and protected in a pouch, to preserve their condition and collector value.
