About this Product Full Product Name

The Barber half dollar was introduced in 1892 and was issued until 1915. It is named after it's designer, the Chief Engraver of the US Mint; Charles E. Barber. The obverse design is Liberty with a cap and wreath. This figure was inspired both by classical Greek and Roman models. The reverse a heraldic eagle similar to that featured on the Great Seal of the United States.

The Barber half dollar was struck at 4 US Mints: Philadelphia (no mint mark), New Orleans (O mint mark), San Francisco (S mint mark) and Denver (D mint mark). The coins' composition is .900 fine silver. This particular set contains all the years minted at the Denver Mint, which includes 1906, 1907, 1908, 1911, 1912, 1913, and 1915.

This complete 7 coin Denver Mint Collection features hand selected coins, with each coin encapsulated and presented in a custom display.
