Full Product Name

The Barber quarter was introduced in 1892 and was issued until 1916. It is named after it's designer, the Chief Engraver of the US Mint; Charles E Barber. The obverse design is Liberty with a cap and wreath. This figure was inspired both by classical Greek and Roman models. The reverse a heraldic eagle similar to that featured on the Great Seal of the United States.

The Barber Quarter was struck at 4 US Mints: Philadelphia ( no mint mark ), New Orleans ( O mint mark ), San Francisco ( S mint mark ) and Denver ( D mint mark ). It's composition was .900 fine silver.
