Firsts are always remembered and this one is no exception. The Flying Eagle Cent was our first small sized cent and was struck for three years, 1856-1858. However short this coins life may have been, its impacting upon American coin collecting culture is legendary!

1864 Indian Head Cent

A first year bronze Indian Head cent, this coin represents the start of America's 'bronze age!' Indian Head Cents were minted until 1909, when they were replaced by the Lincoln cent.

1909 Dual Indian Head Cent and Lincoln Wheat Cent

A beginning and an end of eras in one set! In 1909 the Indian Head cent was saying goodbye, and during the same year the Lincoln Wheat cent was being minted for the first time.
