Obverse: The obverse of this exceptional coin displays a portrait of William H. Taft, designed by United States Mint Artistic Infusion Program artist William C. Burgard III and sculpted by Jim Licaretz. Taft served as President from 1909 until 1913 and is known for his efforts to promote world peace and establish the Children's Bureau to advocate for the welfare of children.

Reverse: As with all Presidential Dollars, the reverse of the 2013 William H. Taft Presidential Dollar features the Statue of Liberty, designed by Don Everhart.
