With five coins per year, and one coin for each of the 50 states and 6 U.S. Territories, these special quarters were the absolute King-of-the-Hill for everyday collectors.

The follow-up to this stunning collection was the popular America The Beautiful coin program starting in 2010. The America the Beautiful Program shifted the focus from the states themselves to the national parks and monuments within each state, releasing 5 new coins every year until 2021.

This year, 2019, saw the America the Beautiful coin series break new ground for the U.S. Mint: the creation of the first ever circulating West Point Mint-Mark Quarters! Until now, there has never been a quarter in U.S. Mint History struck at the West Point Mint with the ‘W’ mint mark!

Starting with the first quarter released in 2019, the Lowell National Park, the United States Mint mixed these special West Point Mint quarters into the bags of Philadelphia and Denver Mint uncirculated pieces that are released annually… this turned finding these quarters into a modern day treasure hunt!
